First things first, Losar Tashi Delek (Happy Tibetan New Year)! I've been having the best time at my place celebrating with all my dear ones. I hope its been  the same for all of you as well who celebrate Losar :).

  Anyway , I have finally decided to put up the other creation that I was talking about in my earlier blog post. I'm not very happy with the pictures that I have, but I didn't want to make all of you wait(and keep your hopes high :p) so I think it'll do.

To be honest, the whole sewing process of this draped skirt was quite a frustrating one. It looked easy when I  first projected it in my mind and had the picture, but trust me it wasn't! Its more than just a draped skirt !

But I also think it was because this was the first time I was ever sewing any thing other than a shirt. So, it was definitely something which was out of my comfort zone. I hope all of you like it :)

Needles and Threads are my Best-friends.

I know I haven't exactly been loyal and faithful to my blog but thats because I've been so busy doing other things regarding my COLLEGE APPLICATION! Its been a stressful week for me but I won't write about all my misery here and depress people.

     So, moving on.. I just sewed another design of mine, actually 2! But for now, I'll just show you one of the pieces that I sewed and so that I can keep you wondering what the other could be! Trust me, it'll be worth the wait :D

Chaos In My Mind

BE KIND! Thats what I'd like you all to consider since this is my first blog!

Bonjour my fellow fashion lovers!
I've been meaning to start a blog for quiet some time now and it wasn't until today, that my lazy self realized to tick one thing off the to-do list finally! So, here I am, trying to put together all my thoughts and rambles for my very first blog, URBAN CHAOSITY. A big YAY for that;) I will try be a faithful blogger, much to my capacity--so please be considerate and appreciate my work!

Just recently, I tried an ombre shade of light and dark purple nail paint for my much needed manicure. It obviously didn't look as amazing as I had projected in my mind. But for some reason, my mother really loved the color. Now, that made me think twice because usually my mother is pretty hard to impress. Much to my amazement, I actually started liking the nail color the more I looked at it! Here's a picture of the nail color. Please let me know what you think about it.

   

 

 Also, I forgot to add that, along with all my mumble jumble that you're going to see posted every now and then, I will also be posting few pictures of clothings that I have personally tailored! Yes, I mean 'self tailored'!! Making my own clothes was something I always wanted to do. I just never had the patience to sit down and start the work. Not to forget, I always thought taking a sewing class was a must before learning how to make anything out of a plain cloth! But, I guess Ive outdone myself! I actually made a shirt without any tutorial help and sewing class!(couldn't help but brag a little bit;). My first piece may not be the best looking design but because this is my first, I couldn't wait to share this with you all.

For those of you critics, I probably need more practice or maybe a REAL sewing class to get more help on my next piece but for now, enjoy my first creation! :D
